Las Piedras Lunares, which translates into English as 'The Lunar Stones', is a stretch of land that covers all of California and stretches down across the southwestern US deep into Mexico. The name derives from the chunks of the Moon that were blown off during World War 3, which rained down through the atmosphere and collided with Earth. The collisions destroyed California and most of Mexico, and the chunks of lunar rock have reform the landscape into a sort of desert like wasteland. The huge white stones tower over the land, and give it a rather ominous feel.

It is currently unknown if there is anyone living in this area, as most have not ventured out into the west since the impacts over two hundred of years ago.
